The eTutor Training EnvironmenteTutor is used to deliver a course on-site in an instructor-led classroom setting. The customer's trainer is present in classroom for the training session to act as the instructor. Two options for the classroom environment are possible, depending on the facilities available:
The design of the eTutor system enables the training supplier to maintain usage control over training content in a single location at the suppliers facilities. Use fees, access restrictions, or certification requirements can be associated with the eTutor course material and only authorized personnel can acquire them. eTutor insures that the correct course version for the particular training session is used when multiple course versions are available, and accurately captures (or records) what training each participant has received. To get started with the eTutor system, the trainer (or trainers): 1. Attends a two phase training course at the provider’s location:2. Returns to the worksite to deliver training to fellow employees using eTutor to support and manage the curriculum In operation, the trainer follows these simple steps to present a training course using eTutor:
The eTutor instructor selects a course from the available selection list. This opens the eTutor Instructor's Guide from which the course is controlled. This guide provides the instructor with visual cues for the various components of the course, a text script, and the controls to issue slides, web pages, animation, video, or any other object that can be displayed in a web page. The CADE Learning Management Web collects student responses. These responses can include, for example, answers to questions that are scripted as part of the instructors guide and asked during the course, or the results of a test given online after the conclusion of the class. |
