Rebuilding Wheel Fairings - 4/13/00Just before I bought the plane, the plane landed on a very narrow runway and got off far enough off the edge to hit a runway light with the left wheel fairing. It didn't "fair" so well... I couldn't find another fairing to match the good one so my son and I decided to rebuild it. Here's a recap of our progress.
First Glass...
Add More Glass and A Little Bondo...This is where my son really takes over. He's great with a block sander and a paint gun.
